授業の概要

Oral and Participatory.

The class will be based on interaction and participation.

Role-play,modeling/shadowing but the overall emphasis will be on authentic and meaningful communication.

English only. Under 20 students perclass

本講義は会話の上達をめざし、参加型および相互作用を持つ授業を実施します。

ロールプレイやシャドーイングなどを中心に実施していきますが、学生の積極的な授業参加を重要視します。

英語のみでの授業。1クラス20名以下です。



授業内容

Week1−Introductions The verb “to be”

    Questions:“What is your name?”“Where are you from?”“How are you?”

    動詞“to be” 

    質問例:“What is your name?”“Where are you from?”“How are you?”



Week2−Yes/No Questions  The verb “to do”

    Questions:“What do you do?”“I am a pilot.”“Is she an actress?”“She is not an actress.”

    動詞“to do”

質問例:“What do you do?”“I am a pilot.”“Is she an actress?”“She is not an actress.”



Week3−Describing adjectives:

    pretty,beautiful,strong,handsome,young,old,smart,tall...

Questions and statements:"She is beautiful" "Are they Japanese?"

    形容詞表現

    例文:"She is beautiful" "Are they Japanese?"



Week4-Daily activities/routines, verbs "to go"&"to get"

   Phrases: getup,wake up,watch TV,take a bus, take a shower.

week5-Telling Time The verbs"to take" ,"to eat"&"to drink"

   Quetions and statements:"What time do you get up?""I eat breakfast at 7 A.M."

week6-sports and hobbies The verb "to play"&"to to practice"

Participation and Individual improvement 40%, Quizzes 20%, Final 40% with a focus on “real world” situations.

授業態度および自己解決能力40%、小テスト20%、実社会の状況に特化した試験40%の総合評価



S - Almost complete understanding of all themes 

A - Understands themes well 

B - Understands most themes, but still struggles with others

C- Tries hard and understands some themes, but still many themes doesn't understand well enough
